Yoav Nudell DDS

Dr. Nudell is originally from Scotch Plains, New Jersey where he attended Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. He later earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Brandeis University, conducted research and successfully defended an honors undergraduate thesis. He then joined the laboratory of the Nobel laureate Michael Rosbash, to continue his research studying molecular neuroscience. Following this he joined the Bodmer laboratory in San Diego California, researching the fundamentals of cardiac electrophysiology and the surfboard. 

He then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Biomedical science at Rutgers University. There he completed a masters thesis and published multiple journal articles. 

He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated with honors from New York University College of Dentistry in 2018.  There he conducted clinical research on TMJ physiology. He was inducted into the highly selective national dental honors society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). 

He subsequently completed a highly reputable 4-year Oral & Maxillofacial surgery program at The Brooklyn Hospital Center with rotations through The Brooklyn Veterans Administration Hospital, Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Saint Barnabas Hospital, Anne Arundel Medical Center in Maryland, Geisinger Medical center in Pennsylvania. Specializing in complex facial trauma, TMJ surgery, jaw corrective surgery, Head and Neck Cancer, Implantology, facial reconstruction, outpatient sedation, botox, and dental rehabilitation cases.  A significant amount of his training was dedicated to the use of computer guided virtual surgical planning, and the use of custom surgical guides for the correction of dento-facial deformities, jaw defects, facial trauma, and placement of dental implants.  During his final year of residency he held the position of Chief Resident.  

Dr. Nudell is board eligible with American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National dental honors society. 

He holds active certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is also a Basic Life Support instructor. 

Personal interests include family, traveling, running, fitness and baking bread.
